Don’t let the archives here fool you. I’ve been blogging since 2001. However, I’ve just recently decided to take the leap into a more public venue, and here I am.

Cast of characters:

Rosebud: daughter, toddler, whiz kid

Buddy: best friend and lover

Juniper: Buddy’s daughter, tween-in-training, whiz kid

Since I started blogging back in the day, I’ve:

• gotten engaged,
• gotten married,
• bought three houses,
• sold two houses,
• made a little girl, acquired shares in another,
• switched jobs a number of times,
• gotten separated,
• achieved divorcedom and,
• am actually brave enough (or crazed enough) to have gotten married again - this time, by eloping to our own living room.

I work at a giant corporation as a writer. I am a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend, a fighter, a survivor and probably a few other adjectives that I could add. Also a few other adjectives that others might want to add. But those they can take care of themselves.

I live in the middle of Canada, where the wind never ceases and the weather really is a subject of frequent conversation.

I rant, I rave, I laugh, I cry, I live. This is where I tell the ether about these things.
